About Us

Engineering is a technical endeavor combining science, mathematics, and systems analysis.  Most people have the impression that engineers are a different breed: "All work and no play," "Just the facts, please" - you get the picture.  But did you know that engineers have a sense of humor and imagination?  Engineers love their chosen profession, but they also know not to take it (or themselves ) too seriously.  It was this recognition, coupled with the limited engineering- themed gift ideas available in the marketplace that led me to design this coffee mug.  As you might have guessed by now, I'm an engineer: a chemical engineer.

"Engineered Coffee" represents how a coffee manufacturing process might be depicted on engineering blueprints in the early phases of plant design.
